How Does Online Coaching work?

Online coaching is a comprehensive health and fitness service, delivering a bespoke (based on physical information, exercise history, goals, equipment access etc.) physical training and/or nutrition programme to you, purely online. Online coaching provides you with all of the tools and education you need to guide you to achieving your goals, transform your body and life in a timely, yet healthy manner. You and your physical state are monitored extremely closely throughout the entirety of the programme, minimising the possibility of plateaus and ensuring progression, constant motivation and engagement at all times. Your goals are very much a journey that we embark on together.

How do your coaching programmes work, specifically?

The online nutrition programme isn’t designed to be just a nutrition programme, or a “get in shape” programme (although we do get great results). We d​o​ teach you what to eat, how and why, but here at Jambition Health our aim is to provide a “behaviour change” programme. It’s only when we change our daily behaviours that we can get lean, fit, and healthy... and STAY that way for life. Our nutrition programme is designed to walk you gradually - but strategically - through a series of daily steps and focused actions. Actions intended to help you positively change your everyday behaviours, and as a result, your body and health!

The online training programme (Trainerize) is designed to run as long as the you, the client, needs/wants it to. Your bespoke training plan will arrive on the Sunday after enquiry and payment has been made (minimum 3 days notice), and will generally be updated in 4-6 week training phases (depending on individual progress, personal goal adjustments, enjoyment etc.). Each exercise will be accompanied by an instructional video of said exercise, and you the client also have the ability to record videos to send back to me your coach. This feature is to ensure technique is always perfect, in reading effectiveness and decreasing injury risk (please refer to the Online Coaching page for more details).

At Jambition Health, I ask clients to commit to 3 months to start and at least 7 days notice before your next billing date for any online programme cancellations.

What kind of support do I get?

All Jambition Health online coaching customers will have full email support, aiming to reply to all emails within 24 hours. There are also chat features within Trainerize if you prefer a less formal method of communication.

Can you help with medical conditions/injuries?

In relation to our online coaching service, I am not in a position to diagnose injuries. I would advise that you seek the opinion of a medical professional before starting any training programme. I can certainly improve and work around some injuries and conditions, but physical rehabilitation and medical advice is not a part of my service. To be clear, although my training programmes work toward optimal health, they are not intended as a replacement for personalised medical advise. 

Do I need to have gym access or fitness equipment to enroll on the training programme? 

No, equipment is not a necessity as each programme is written on a bespoke basis and uses what resources you have available to you. Where you do not have gym access and are in need of some pieces of equipment to achieve your goal, recommendations can be given.
